本稿は、米国企業の経営戦略と人的資源管理の現状を考察する論文であり、平成27 ~ 28 年度常葉大学共同研究の成\n果の一部である。本稿では、まず米国の運輸関連サービス業のコンサルタント企業を取り上げて、カリフォルニア高速\n鉄道受注獲得までの経営戦略を説明する。その際、社内トップの地位を維持し続ける支店の人事戦略についても言及す\nる。次に、人的資源管理に焦点を絞り、航空宇宙産業と自動車産業の米国企業における人的資源管理の現状を考察する。\n高い国際競争力を有する米国の航空・宇宙産業では、熟練労働者の育成と確保を重視しており、長期勤続の熟練労働者\nの賃金が高くなる人事・賃金制度を採用していた。他方、自動車産業では、BIG 3 の経営危機が克服されたことを反映\nして、二層賃金制度は解消されることが労使で合意され、インプログレション労働者の賃金は最長8
