年代の日本自動車産業における中小企業の人事・賃金管理に関する事例研究である。分析対象であるD3 社は、1994 年に職能資格制度を軸とする人事・賃金制度を導入し、目標管理も取り入れた能力主義管理を進展させた。この論文では、目標管理との関連が強い同社の人事考課制度の詳細を考察している。具体的には、同社の勤務実績・態度評定における評価要素に、目標管理の課題評価・プロセス評価・成果評価が組み込まれ、上位の等級ほど目標管理の評価のウェイトが高まっていること等の事実が明らかにされている。他方で、D3 社では能力主義的な昇格管理が実施されつつも、年齢給の比率が大きく、その点で年功的処遇の部分も温存されており、本稿は1990
